Hello, I’m Vicky. I am a trainee counsellor with a person-centred, integrative approach. My intention is to truly see you and meet you where you are, being with you through deep listening and gentle honesty, in a safe, non-judgemental space. My counselling experience includes volunteering with The Listening Post and Rape Crisis and I have supported young people with navigating eating disorders and self-harm. I am passionate about connecting with nature for positive mental health and well-being. Hi I'm Liz - Trainee Counsellor

As a trainee in pluralistic psychotherapeutic counselling, I draw on psychodynamic, person-centred, and cognitive behavioural approaches to emotional difficulties. This means that I can offer strategies to help you cope with today’s challenges, as well as a gentle, non-judgemental space to explore deeper issues and longstanding patterns.

In addition to practical training, I hold two master’s degrees: an MPhil in Psychoanalytic Studies and an MSc in Psychology of Mental Health. In these courses and throughout 4 years of work in research, I investigated topics including intergenerational trauma, depression, psychoeducation, emotion coaching, and LGBTQIA+ identities. I also have over 11 years of voluntary experience working with people with developmental disabilities and survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

Though stress, low mood, loss, and relationship troubles are near-universal experiences, we can often feel lonely and out of our depth in facing these challenges. I know the strength it takes to reach out to a counsellor for help. My aim is to meet that courage with warmth, authenticity, and an approach that is tailored to the uniqueness of each client’s situation and goals.

Hello my name is Ben and I’m a trainee pluralistic counsellor. I have training in psychodynamic and CBT approaches, but this is all supported with the underlying use of the person centred approach. I believe that every person has within them what they need to live the happy and fulfilling life that they deserve and I am here to help support you to unlock the skills that will help you to navigate some of lives challenges and deal with the bumps in the road along the way. After all no one knows you better than you do, so you lead the way and we work at a pace that you are comfortable with. No pressure, No judgement.

For the last 25 years I have worked as a motor vehicle technician in the beautiful county of Yorkshire. I am married and with four children I understand some of the difficulties in balancing work and home life and trying to get the best for everyone that you care about.

In my spare time I have always taken part in sport both team and individual to a reasonable amateur level and so I understand the pressure this can bring both externally and internally. My current sport of choice is cycling which allows me to get out in the fresh air and enjoy some of the fantastic scenery that this country has to offer (or most of the time just the rear end of the rider in front).

people to unlock their potential and create meaningful change in their lives. I am a qualified life

coach, holding a diploma trained under Andy Ramage, and I bring a strong foundation of coaching,

personal development, and wellbeing into my work.

I work with people who are ready to move forward — whether that means building confidence,

I’m also registered blind and live with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP). Sight loss is a key area of my

identity shifts that can come with vision loss. This understanding comes not just from training, but

from lived experience. While sight loss is a speciality, my coaching practice supports people facing

a wide range of life challenges and transitions.
